Calverton Parish Council have a number of allotment plots for hie in the village.
Applications are now open to residents for allotments on both Collyer Road and Bonner Lane sites.
A spokesman for the parish council said: “This is an ideal way to keep fit and provide yourself with freshly grown produce at a fraction of the price and something the whole family can be involved in.
“There are several plots available of varying sizes in both locations,
details available from the Parish Council Office.
“Collyer Road allotments also have 2 raised beds for residents who are
either wheelchair bound or have mobility/mental health issues and would benefit from use of a raised bed at an annual cost of £5 per raised bed.”
