All of Real United’s Saturday teams won at the weekend with the first team safely through to the second round of the precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Cup after seeing off first division Ashland Rovers 5-0.
It was Real’s third straight win and the fifth game in a row that they had kept a clean sheet (scoring 27 goals in those five games).
Tim Hopkinson, two goals from skipper Jamie Spiers one from Kuwesi Ofushine and one from Austin Wallace was enough to mount up another comfortable win ahead of a tougher anticipated visit of Bingham Town on Saturday.
The Under 15s won 3-0 at Edwalton Cavaliers whilst the U14s won their third game of the season in impressive fashion 13-0 against Winthorpe / Coddington Tigers.
However the Veterans Team were soundly beaten 6-0 on Sunday at Poets.
