Cash taken from pensioners during Mapperley burglary

Police have launched an appeal to track down thieves who stole cash from two elderly ladies during a break in at Mapperley 

Officers were called to the address in Mapperley Orchard on Thursday night (October 24) after two men had forced their way into the property and stole a quantity of cash from the pensioners.

The victims were not hurt but left considerably shaken up.

Both men are described as white and of medium height.

One man is described as being in his mid-30s, of a slim build and having short dark hair.

The other man is described as being in his 20s, of a stockier build and having dark swept back hair. He was also wearing a green camouflage jacket and trousers.

If you saw this incident, saw anyone matching these descriptions in the area at the time, or have any information that might help, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 910 of 22 October.
