Boy fighting for life after being hit by car on Carlton Road

A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a car on Carlton Road last night (October 22).

The boy suffered life-threatening injuries following the collision which took place near to the junction with St Matthias Road, at around 11.30pm

Officers investigating an incident are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, failing to stop and dangerous driving following the incident. She is currently in police custody

Anyone who witnessed this collision or who saw the car involved – a dark-coloured Peugeot – leading up to the collision is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1009 of 22 October 2015.
