Wilkinsons, the High Street homeware retailer, has now collapsed into administration. This has put 12,000 jobs at risk.
The chain said it has been unable to investment to save its 400 shops across the UK.
The chain has stores in Arnold and Carlton.
Wilkos has been trading since 1930.
The firm is still owned by the founding Wilkinson family.
It has already suspended home deliveries.
