An Arnold coffee shop has announced it will be closing its doors next week as a result of the ongoing cost of living crisis.
The Revival Coffee Co, based on Front Street, posted about their decision on social media.
They wrote: “I am heartbroken having to write this post, but I think given the current financial climate you probably have a good idea what am about to say.

“This will be Revival’s last weekend open. We’ve tried really hard to fight the rising costs, bills and cost of living crisis but as a small independent we have no choice but to close our doors.
“This Saturday (5) and Sunday (6) we will serve up all of our menu, coffee and sweet treat favourites, as well as the one and only weekend of bottomless brunches to send us off in style.
They added: “We’ve really loved having you. Hopefully will see some of your lovely faces this weekend so we can say goodbye properly.”
Fans of the coffee shop shared their sadness over the decision on social media.
Katrina Poyser posted: “So very very sad to hear this news I’ve enjoyed coming in often. Was only in on Tuesday enjoying your coffee and avocado and courgette gluten free cake which was delicious.”
Aisa Kaяa wrote:” This is incredibly sad. You definitely serve up the best breakfast around.”
Gemm Louise Wood posted: “Oh no, my favourite little coffee shop I love it in there so friendly and value for money I will pop on and have a final coffee tomorrow.”
It’s believed the coffee shop will close its doors after the weekend.

Every other shop on Front Street is a cafe/coffee place these days. It’s not possible for them all to make a living indefinitely with so much competition. More so now as costs rise and rise.
Unfortunately it’s a cut throat world. I’d rather it wasn’t, but it is.
