Arnold were quickly in to their stride and after a poor clearance by the Tevie keeper, Liam Black was on hand to pick the ball up and thread a pass through to Tremere Lindo who calmly slotted home for the lead. 

DARTS: Top two win again as league comes down to the wire

Last year The Gedling Club were already crowned champions at this stage winning the league by a massive six points and also taking home the Captain and Secretary title by a clear four points.

Match Report: Dunston 2 – 3 Carlton Town FC

Nat Watson – yes Nat Watson -  scored in the last minute as Carlton Town twice came from behind to stun title-chasing Dunston with a 3-2 win in the North East.

Carlton Town played out only their second draw of the season against Pontefract Collieries.

The Gedling Club suffered only their second loss of the season, losing 4-2 at home against The Cross Keys, Epperstone giving slight hope to the chasing pack.

Match Report: Arnold Town 1 – 3 Mickleover RBL

Manager Ash White was thus forced to include Liam Black (actually nursing a long term serious injury) and recall veteran striker Stephen King who had not seen action since the beginning of September in order to come up with sufficient bodies to fill the eleven shirts.

The Millers matched the league leaders for long spells of the game and can consider themselves unlucky not to have taken a share of the spoils.

Result of the week was definitely league newcomers The Cross keys from Burton Joyce who having lost only one game this season, a feat only matched by The Gedling Club won easily at home to The Old Ship from Lowdham.
