Lowdham & District Village Mens Dart League RESULTS January 17
The league reached the halfway point on January 17 with no change in any of the league positions and only four points continuing to separate the top seven.
Draw specialists The Cross Keys, Burton Joyce drew again recording their seventh draw from nine games so far against the out of form league leaders, The Gedling Club who have only managed a single point from their last 2 games.
A 5-1 win for Calverton‘s The Admiral Rodney means they join The Gedling Club at the top, equal on both points and leg difference. Calverton’s Working Men’s Club also won 5-1 leaving them just a point off the top two in second.
Round 10 on the 24/1 promises to be eventful with first playing third in a match where the in form CWMC take on an out of form Gedling Club, a fixture that finished in a 3-3 draw in the first round of this years competition.
Joint top team The Admiral Rodney face a tough match at home against Epperstone’s Cross Keys, another match that also ended in stalemate first time around.
The Captain and Secretary Cup is equally as close with only two points separating the top four at the halfway point.
P Collen and P Eaton remain on top of the highest finishes table with 158 and 123 respectively.
This years Triples competition will be held on Wednesday January 31 at the CWMC. Sign in is at 7.50pm with a blind draw on the night. Open to all L&D players.

Gedling Club is the only venue in the league with a raised oche, basically a mini stage, not a lip – what about people with disabilities or in wheelchairs? They are restricted from playing in any darts league including the Gedling Club as they are not being treated equally.
Not being funny but if in a wheelchair they can’t reach the dartboard to get darts out, yes if there can be away of everyone playing (Disabilities) or not should be looked at
