Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to trace after a woman reported being sexually assaulted on a bus in Nottingham.
The incident is said to have happened on board the 61 service as it travelled along Mansfield Road on the night of Tuesday, August 18.
Officers investigating the allegation believe the man pictured in the footage could help with their enquiries and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
The man boarded the bus in Nottingham city centre shortly before 11pm and later got off in Mapperley.
PC Laura Twigger, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We take reports of this nature extremely seriously and have been working to understand what happened.
“We are now appealing for the public’s help to identify a male passenger who we believe can help with our enquiries.
“If you know this man, or if this is you, we would like to hear from you without delay.”
