PLANNING: New retail units and apartments proposed for Daybrook

Three new build retail units with 5 apartments above are proposed.

A planning application has been received by Gedling Borough Council for the proposed demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of 22A Mansfield Road Daybrook Nottinghamshire NG5 6AA

The application has been received from Rick Cobham Design Ltd. of Calverton acting as agent on behalf of Apollo Windows of 22A Mansfield Road, Daybrook, NG5 6AA.

The application describes the proposed works as ‘Demolish existing retail units – replace with 3 new build retail units with 5 apartments above’

Documents submitted to the planning department advise that the existing retail units will be demolished and replaced with three retail units with additional onsite parking. Onsite parking will increase from seven spaces to 13 spaces in total.

Planning documents further advise that the five residential dwellings / apartments that are proposed above the new retail units are for market housing and consist of four two bedroom properties and one three bedroom property.
