These are what they are appealing for:
- Tinned Fish
- Squash/Juice
- Tinned Fruit and Rice Pudding/Custard
- Tinned Veg – carrots,sweetcorn and peas
- Toiletries (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and toilet rolls)
- Soup
- Coffee Chocolate & Snacks
- UHT Milk In fact anything except pasta, baked beans, pulses and rice
A spokesman for the foodbank also shared the news that bags and trolleys were also needed.
They said: “We are also always in need of carrier bags, ‘Bags for Life’ and if anyone has any shopping trolleys, they no longer require, we would be very grateful for those too.”
