Man in hospital after alleged hit and run outside his home in Stoke Bardolph

A man is in hospital with head injuries after a suspected hit and run outside his home in Stoke Bardolph.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or altering.

The man was found injured near his home after he left the house to investigate a disturbance but didn’t return.

Officers have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and failing to stop at the scene of an accident following the incident in Kingfisher Road, Stoke Bardolph, just before 8.10pm yesterday (February 1, 2021).

PC Chris Archer, who is investigating the incident, said: “This is a very disturbing report of an incident that has left a man in hospital with head injuries.

“We would reassure people that we are doing everything we can to piece together what happened and what led to this reported incident.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we would ask anyone with any information to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 706 of 1 February 2021.
