Extended opening hours at Calverton recycling centre this spring

A local recycling facility will now be open until 8pm from the beginning of next month.

The Nottinghamshire County Council site in Calverton will be open from 8am-8pm from April 1.

The site, on Hollinwood Lane, is currently open between 8am – 6pm until the end of March.

A spokesman for the council said: “Please sort your waste into types before visiting this site where possible and allow plenty of time to unload your waste once at your chosen site. Also don’t forget to ensure you have registered your vehicle”.
