
Plans to build 150 homes on a site next to Gedling Country Park have been approved by Gedling Borough Council.
The decision,which was made by the council’s planning committee, means that work on the new homes will begin in January.
The Nottingham Post reports that Bloor will have provide over £800,000 towards local services and infrastructure including £82,650 towards primary healthcare, £366,560 for education, £5,807 for libraries, £26,000 for two new bus stops close to the development, £233,510 towards the provision of open space, £78,500 to provide bus passes and travel vouchers for new residents, and £10,000 towards monitoring the travel plan for the development.
