Cat lovers are being urged to volunteer for packing bags at a local supermarket to help raise funds for a rescue home.
Netherfield & District Women’s Institute (WI) will be at Morrisons on Sunday, December 20, packing bags for shoppers to help raise cash for Nottingham Cat Rescue.

The group president, Sharon Ellis said: “We are looking for volunteers to help. It’s for a fantastic cause. They do a great job.”
“So if there are any cat lovers out there who ca spare a couple of hours on the Sunday, please contact me.”
The group are looking for volunteers to cover either of the two shifts available which are 10am – 12.30pm or 12.30pm – 3pm.
