Officers on cycle patrol stopped two males who were using an off-road bike in the area around the popular nature reserve.

Police have seized an off-road motorcycle in response to complaints from residents about the growing number of bikes using Netherfield Lagoons.

A spokesman said: “It transpired that the rider was disqualified from riding and driving and was issued with the relevant paperwork and the bike was seized.

“We have received a number of complaints from the public regarding off-road bike activity in this area.
