Passenger removed by police from train at Carlton Station

A passenger was this morning removed from a train at Carlton Station by police.

Officers today were called to the station and removed the passenger from the 11.08 train at around 11.30am.

It is not yet known why police removed the passenger from the train.

An eyewitness at the station said: “The person was escorted from the station by police. They had what looked like masking tape across their mouth and looked quite distressed.”

Gedling Eye has approached Nottinghamshire Police, British Transport Police and East Midlands Trains for comment
