Mapperley Plains to see temporary traffic lights during Gedling Access Road works at key junction

Temporary traffic lights will hit Mapperley Plains this week as work takes place at a key junction as construction ramps up on the Gedling Access Road.

From today (Tuesday 23) until Thursday, April 1, temporary three-way traffic lights will be in place on Mapperley Plains near the junction with Chartwell Grove to allow service crossings to be installed across the road.

To minimise disruption, these signals will be manually controlled daily from 7am to 7pm and will be removed on Friday, March 26 to keep the road clear over the weekend. They will be reinstalled on Monday, March 29 until 1 April 1.

  1. It’s time now to remove the temporary camera on stoke lane, it was supposed to be there for a maximum 8 months. Anyone from VIA or NCC wish to comment on this before an official complaint is made?
