Man charged over Carlton Hill mountain bike theft

Nottinghamshire Police say they have today charged a man in connection with the theft of a mountain bike in Carlton Hill.

It follows a report of a 14-year-old being threatened by a man who then stole his bike.

The incident happened around 5.55pm on May, 12, 2019 in the lower car park of Tesco at the bottom of Carlton Hill, Carlton.

Daniel Higginson, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with theft and some other unrelated matters.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday (27 May 2019).
