Lloyds are closing a number of branches across the UK

342 customers used this branch regularly over a 12-month period up to October 2022.

A Lloyds Banking Group spokesperson said: “Our customers are increasingly using digital channels to manage their money – we now have over 20 million regular digital users so it’s important we continue to develop the online services our customers want to use.

“Our branches will continue to be an option for our customers, alongside our telephone services, mobile app and online bank.”

It leaves a branch in Arnold.

  1. absolutely disgusting that the lloyds bank on carlton hill is closing down on 26/7/23. seems to me all banks doing the same, don’t believe that the figures of just over 300 customers have used this bank in the last 12 months. Despite what they say its just an excuse to shut branches to save money, can understand in some areas where they close but not carlton hill, the nearest lloyds bank is in Arnold, do they ever think about the elderly, people who don’t drive, no they are not interested, only interested in themselves. No matter how many people complain or the local mp gets involved, it’s not going to make any difference. There are a lot of businesses on carlton hill who use the bank to deposit their takings , how the hell are they going deposit money once it closes, can’t really do that online. ……rant over

  2. Only blessing is the Post office has reopened and they can do most of what the bank can do for local business, cash deposits, etc. Hail the Post Office!!

  3. Don’t understand why Lloyds bank carlton hill is closing when more and more customers need their services, and demand for online banking is decreasing .

How are customers supposed to manage their bank accounts with no bank, it’s a big problem for Lloyd’s bank to sought out.

No idea what’s happening with Lloyd’s bank at the moment.
