The Met Office forecast a mainly dry and bright to start, but scattered showers developing through the day. The showers will be heavy in places and perhaps with the odd rumble of thunder. Feeling pleasantly warm in sunny spells between showers. Gentle or moderate breezes. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Showers soon fading this evening, leaving mostly clear skies overnight. Winds falling light and becoming rather chilly in rural eastern areas, though remaining milder elsewhere. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tomorrow is expected to be dry and bright to start, but thicker cloud and rain soon spreading east. Turning drier and brighter by late afternoon, but with the chance for a few heavy, thundery showers. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
