Times Furniture Co has been a successful business for over twenty years and was based in Bulwell until 2022.
The Bulwell shop was closed due to David Perrin, the main owner choosing to downsize and run a smaller shop.
David however had no intention of retiring fully and wanted to keep the great Times Furniture name running as it had for over twenty years.
Dave’s son, Matt Perrin, is co owner of the business and as both Matt and David are Gedling residents they wanted to bring the family business closer to home and Times Furniture Co. in Gedling Village was born.
Matt also has two young children who go to the local schools in Gedling and he wanted to be closer to his kids and spend more time in the area.
The shop will be selling a range of furniture including, but not limited to, recliner chairs, nests of tables and footstools in a range of materials.
They also have brochures for other furniture items that are not on the shop floor due to space.
A spokesperson for the new furniture outlet said to Gedling Eye:
“Matt and David are both very happy to bring the business to their local area and hope they get lots of support from everyone in Gedling.
“They are very approachable and will go above and beyond to help any of their customers out.”
