Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was knocked off his bike in a collision with a car before the driver allegedly left the scene.
The crash happened on Porchester Road in Carlton at around 10.40pm on July 9 when a car and a bicycle collided.
Thankfully, the cyclist was not injured, but officers say the vehicle drove away before the driver could be spoken to.
Investigators have since identified the registered keeper of the car as Robert Odhiambo, 35, and are now trying to trace him.
Odhiambo, of Cardinal Close, St Ann’s, is wanted on suspicion of a number of offences, including driving without due care and attention and failing to stop following a road traffic collision.
Despite ongoing enquiries, police have so far been unable to locate him and are urging anyone who may know where he is to come forward.
PC James Biggs, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “While thankfully nobody was injured during this incident, we’d still like to speak to the driver of the car in question, who we believe was Robert Odhiambo.
“Our message to him therefore would be to make himself known to us so that we can ask him a few questions, while we’d also ask anyone who thinks they might know of his whereabouts to share this immediately.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 26000407244. Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
