The number of covid cases being reported in Gedling borough has dropped.
Figures published yesterday evening (10) show 148 cases were reported across the borough – which is down from 236 recorded on the previous day.
The news comes as a new rule on testing comes into force.
From today (11) people without Covid symptoms no longer need a PCR test to confirm a positive lateral flow in England.
In Nottinghamshire 2,067 cases were reported. Again, this was down from the 2,736 recorded the previous day.
Mansfield recorded a dramatic fall in numbers, with 191 recorded – a drop from 341 recorded during the previous 24 hours.
