Campaigners calling for more trains to stop at Netherfield Station are holding a meeting this Thursday to present their latest plans to the public.

A number of local councillors and consultants are working on putting together a case for more trains to call at stations on the Nottingham to Grantham line – which includes Netherfield – when the new East Midlands franchise commences.

Councillors and consultants will give a presentation detailing their plans and format for a convincing case to be submitted to the Department for Transport.
