Arnold: Robin Hood & Little John pub rooftop terrace opens to customers

The pub held an opening event yesterday (7) with a 'parting of the barrels' ceremony

A new roof terrace at a popular Arnold pub has finally opened after weeks of work.

The Robin Hood & Little John pub held an opening event yesterday (8) following the completion of work to create the new space. A ‘parting of the barrels’ ceremony took place instead of a traditional ribbon-cutting.

The pub also shared pictures of the new terrace on its social channels.

The terrace is traditional in design with a 1.8m high stained timber fence to three sides and the courtyard elevation has a decorative 1.1m high black balustrading.

It is illuminated with festoon lighting on metal poles with a new metal staircase formed to access the terraced area from the courtyard.

The Robin Hood and Little John thanked Everards1849 and Lincoln Green Brewing Company on their social channels for their continued faith, support and investment in their pubs.

The pub has made a number of changes over the past few months including a new snug and male toilet facilities.
