Match Report: Carlton Town FC 1 – 2 North Ferriby

Carlton have just a couple of days to refocus and recover as they hit the road again to face Grimsby Borough on bank holiday Monday before the cup competitions take priority for a couple of weeks.

A Dean Freeman strike five minutes from time saw Carlton Town take maximum points for the third time in three games as they won 2-1 at Winterton Rangers.

The Miners were looking to build on a 4-0 away victory at Southwell but started slowly against a Holwell team who were looking for their first victory of the season.  

Match Report: Carlton Town FC 2 – 1 Sheffield

Goals from Romello Nangle and Alex Howes maintained Carlton Town’s perfect start to the season with a 2-1 win against Sheffield at Stoke Lane.

The miners were playing their first game in 8 days after last week's postponement and faced a stern test against a Clipstone team who had won both games and scored 10 goals.  

Match Report: Pontefract Colleries 1 – 2 Carlton Town FC

Niall Davie scored in the fourth minute of added time as Carlton Town secured a dramatic opening day 2-1 win at Pontefract Collieries.

MATCH REPORT: Linby Colliery Welfare FC 2 – 1 Mansfield Hosiery Mills

A quiet, second period did however see around a dozen minutes of added time at the end as Linby hung on for a narrow, 2-1 win, and their first, three points of the season, and jump into the top half of the South division.
