New Queen’s Jubilee bench unveiled at Netherfield Lagoons

A new bench was today installed at the popular nature reserve to mark 70 years since the Queen’s accession to the throne. 

The managers of Netherfield Lagoons have decided to honour the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by adding a touch of furniture. 

A new bench was today installed at the popular nature reserve to mark 70 years since the Queen’s accession to the throne.

The bench was assembled by volunteers and includes a plaque that reads: “In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee 1952-2022”

The site is managed by Gedling Conservation Trust and attracts thousands of visitors a year.
