Man hits gaming machine with stool in Arnold as police release CCTV image of person they’d like to speak to

It was reported a man picked up a stool and started hitting a gaming machine

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with criminal damage at a bookies in Arnold.

It was reported a man picked up a stool and started hitting the machine after he had earlier been asked to leave the Ladbrokes in Front Street.

It’s understood the man also threw coins at a staff member before he left the shop. No injuries were reported.

Inquiries are ongoing into the incident which happened around 3.20pm on August 22.

PC Tony Mait said: “As part of our ongoing inquiries I am appealing to the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, to please come forward. We believe he could hold information that could assist us with our investigation.”
