John Robertson, the Nottingham Forest double European Cup winner described by Brian Clough as “the Picasso of our game”, has been announced as guest speaker at a Christmas luncheon event at Carlton Town.
Robertson will be entertaining guests with stories from Nottingham Forest’s golden era at the event, which will take place at the Bill Stoked Stadium on Friday, December 9, from 1pm.

Tickets are £40 and the price includes Christmas dinner.
Robertson is one of many football legends to speak at the annual event. Previous speakers include Jack Charlton, Paul Merson, Sir Geoff Hurst and fellow Forest legend Kenny Burns.
Carlton Town chairman Mick Garton said: “Robbo should be the perfect Christmas entertainer and the club are delighted to announce this historic Christmas event.”
