Elderly residents urged to remain vigilant after distraction burglary in Carlton

One of the males is described as having an Irish accent.

One of the group then distracted the man while the others entered the property and stole a large quantity of cash.

Police said the investigation is “on going”.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “Please be vigilant yourselves and if you have elderly relatives or neighbours in the area, please make them aware not to open doors to people they do not know.”
