Here are some of the most recent cases with defendants from the Gedling borough area to be heard at Nottingham magistrates’ courts.

Ashley Dewar, 35, of Victoria Road in Netherfield, pleaded guilty to theft from a Co-op store. He was handed a ÂŁ40 fine.

Lee Love, 45, of Lee Road in Calverton pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class-B (Mamba). A forfeiture and destruction was ordered.

Nicholas Vile, 43, with a correspondence address of Bond Street in Arnold pleaded guilty to theft of ÂŁ41.50 worth of meat and steak from a shop. He was ordered to pay a fine of ÂŁ40 and ÂŁ85 costs.

Aiden Henderson, 38, of Park Road East in Calverton, pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was handed a six-month sentence and ordered to pay compensation of ÂŁ50.

Jay Frisby, 32, of Tilford Road in Newstead Village pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of post-custodial supervision. He was fined ÂŁ80.
