Armed robbers in Hallowe’en masks target Arnold store

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three men dressed in Hallowe’en masks attempted to rob a shop in Arnold armed with knives.

The men entered Shergill Stores, in Homefield Avenue, at around 9.40pm last night (23) wearing ‘Scream’ Halloween masks. Two of the men were armed with a knife.

They demanded money but fled empty handed in the direction of a nearby alleyway.

The three men are all believed to be in their late teens.

Nottinghamshire Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the men going into or coming out of the store or anyone who has any information on this incident.
