A Gedling care home is hoping to make landmark birthdays extra special for two of its residents.
Gedling Village Care Home have launched a birthday card drive for the two ladies who both turn 100 in the coming weeks.
They are hoping to get around 100 cards for both Betty and Edna when they celebrate their special days.
Betty will turn 100 on September 22 and Edna will celebrate her centenary on October 4.
A spokesman for the home said: “We have separate birthday celebrations planned for both of our ladies but Betty and Edna both say they don’t expect many birthday cards.
“We’re on a card drive for both residents to try and get 100 cards for both ladies to make them feel extra special.”
