Its been a busy week for Carlton Town as they continue to gear up for the new season

All the comings and goings from Stoke Lane over the last week

Carlton Town Joint managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey have been busy putting their squad together for the 2023-2024 season.

In a flurry of website posts over the last week the club has announced the following:

  • Long-standing Gedling Miners Welfare Manager Andy Clerk has joined the backroom staff at Stoke Lane.
  • Centre Back Dan Brown has committed to Carlton Town after agreeing a new contract with the club.
  • Louis Kinnerley has joined the club on a one year deal after helping Hucknall Town achieve promotion last season in the Hucknall goal.
  • Former Notts County player Greg Tempest has signed having played for both Lincoln City, Boston United and more recently, Belper Town.
  • Midfielder Kyle Sargent has confirmed he is staying with the Millers despite interest from elsewhere.
  • Niall Davie has been appointed as the new Club Captain.
  • Alex Howes has committed to the club for the new season.

Sadly the club has also announced the departure of:

  • Jared Holmes (retired)
  • Arron O’Connor
  • Kyle Tomlin (signed for Eastwood)
