My wife and I went in last Christmas to be greeted by a young lad using a broom to sweep the feet mats, the ones everyone wipe their feet on? kicking up huge clouds of dust that drifted over the counters to contaminate the produce? Not a good start. On asking him if he thought that was a good idea he just shrugged his shoulders. So we turned around and walked out in disgust. Don’t care how good they are, they won’t get my quid for produce covered in atomised god knows what.
Great friendly lot especially the butcher’s I’ve learned alot about meat/supermarkets & try their local Nottinghamshire honey it’s to die for.
