Police arrest two men in Arnold after collision

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and car theft after their vehicle crashed on Oxclose Lane last night (4)

Officers on patrol yesterday evening spotted what they believed to be a stolen car, which was thought to be linked to a burglary on November 29.

The car crashed into the central reservation in Oxclose Lane; three men made off on foot.

Two men, aged 18 and 24, have now been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft. They remain in police custody.
