Police appeal to trace ‘anti-social’ bikers in Netherfield and Colwick

Bookmark

Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a number of quad and motorbike riders they say are driving dangerously around the Netherfield and Colwick area.

Officers say they have received a number of reports from the public about a group of three and four quadbike and motorbikes being driven around the Colwick and Netherfield area in a ‘dangerous and anti-social manner’.

A spokesman from Nottinghamshire Police’s Gedling Police Beat Team said: “The riders of these particular bikes are not from the majority of bikers and quadbike users who are responsible safe riders.”

Police recently seized a quadbike they believe belonged to this group.

“We would urge anyone with information about who is riding these bikes recklessly in and round Netherfield and Colwick and where they are being kept to please come forward with information either via a private message on our Facebook group or Crimestoppers.”
