Loud, sudden bangs are all part of a fireworks display, but they are not for everyone, with some people – and animals – find them them scary and unsettling.
As a result, they may avoid attending a Bonfire Night event. However, there’s a way that means no-one has to miss out, with a firework displays taking place in Lambley specifically designed to suit everyone.

The village is playing host to a quiet fireworks night on Saturday, November 9 with a display set to music from the movies – but without the big Bonfire Night bangs.
As well as the fireworks, there will be amazing Korean food for sale from Nottingham’s popular Asian fusion restaurant SHIO. Traditional hot dogs and mushy peas will be sold by Lambley WI and a mobile bar provided by The Woodlark pub will be open thoughout the evening. There will also be children’s fair rides, face painting and much more.
The Lambley Quiet Fireworks Event will be taking place in the Lambley school field at the bottom of Catfoot Lane. Gates open at 5pm.
