Alison said “There are craft, cookery, children’s section, flower, vegetable, photos and alcoholic drink classes on display in the hall, along with some fabulous catering by Lambley WI.
“The WI will be serving hot bacon and sausage cobs from 9.00 am alongside teas and coffees. In the afternoon delicious cakes will also be available, with tables and chairs available for a sit down.

“The show is being opened by the high sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Veronica Pickering.
“On the field there will be a fun dog show, with 5 classes, open to all dogs, entry on the day, commencing at 12.30 pm. Please note only assistance dogs are allowed in the hall.

“It would be lovely if we had lots of entries for the show, it’s just a bit of fun and not at all like the RHS! You have to be in it to win it. “

Lambley Village Show starts at 11.30am on Saturday September 9 and there is still time to enter a class for baking, crafting or horticulture.
