Help vote Gedling Country Park into UK top 10

Gedling Borough Council is urging people to back a bid to get Gedling Country Park into a list of the nation’s favourites.

This year, Keep Britain Tidy are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Green Flag Award, and there won’t just be one People’s Choice winner – there will be ten, all voted for by the public.

The voting has now begun and ends on Friday, September 30.

The ten most popular parks and green space in the UK will be announced in October.

A spokesman for Gedling Borough Council said: ” Since it opened in March 2015 we’ve had 1000s of visitors to Gedling Country Park every week and now with plans for a new heritage centre and a children’s play area, the park is getting even better.

“With your help let’s make the first flagship year even better by voting for it as the People’s Choice Green Flag Awarded Park.”
