Plans have been submitted to turn convert a reptile shop into a fast food takeaway in Gedling.
The applicant wants to change the Medusa Exotics shop on Westdale Road East into a takeaway.
Documents submitted with the application show the premises would be used to house a takeaway selling desserts and burgers.
A letter attached to the application reads: “The shop will be used as a dessert and burger takeway.
“The percentage of hot & cold food will be 50/50 and we will be selling waffles, cookie doughs and crepes for the desserts and just burgers and chips.
The applicant states the business opening hours would be between 3pm-11pm on Monday to Thursday and 3pm until 11.59pm on Friday and Saturday.
A decision on whether plans can go ahead will be made by Gedling Borough Council in the near future.
