Police issue CCTV images of man they want to speak to after harassment of teenager and assault on woman in Arnold

Officers are now appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the images to come forward to help their investigation.

Police have issued images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the harassment of a teenager and assault of a woman in Arnold.

The first incident happened on a bus as the teenage girl was on her way home on Hunter Road at around 6.15pm on August 30, 2021, with a man reportedly following her from seat to seat and touching her leg.

Police then received another report from a woman stating she had been assaulted by a man who grabbed her face and hair in Front Street at around 6pm on August 31, 2021.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the images to come forward to help their investigation.

Constable David Jennings, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We believe the man pictured in this image may be able to help us with our enquiries and would urge him to come forward.

“And also we would like to encourage anyone that may know or recognise the man pictured to come forward and speak with us.

“If anyone has any information that could help our investigations please contact the police on 101 quoting incident 670 of 31 August 2021 and incident 146 of 1 September 2021.”
