Business owners in Gedling borough are being invited to a meeting with a team of experts to discuss the support, funding and advice that is available to them.
The Gedling Business Support Network is funded by Gedling Borough Council using a share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and delivered by East Midlands Chamber.
The Network was relaunched in Spring to help local businesses learn new skills, work together and stay informed about local and national business support.
The next meeting takes place on Friday, September 27 at Sacred Heart Community Centre in Carlton and any business located in or doing business in Gedling borough may attend.
The theme of the next meeting will be around getting the maximum impact for the effort taken. Business owners from the area will learn practical tips on how to market their business on a limited budget.
Passion Marketing’s Lindsey Newman-Wood will run a mini workshop on ‘Champagne Marketing on a Lemonade Budget’.
She said: “I’ll be sharing practical insights and creative ideas to help business owners maximise both their time and marketing budgets, ensuring they get the best return on investment.”
Blue Stamp Travel Managing Director Steve Manderson will be discussing marketing initiatives within his business and the help he’s had from the Accelerator business support project.
Deputy Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire Mark Goldby will outline opportunities around the King’s Awards for Enterprise and Gedling Borough Council will provide an update on business support available.
