Wrestling show in Carlton to raise funds for mental health cause

Money raised at family-friendly show will go towards creating a ‘Crisis Cafe’ in Arnold

A team of some of the countries top wrestlers are getting involved in a Sunday Smackdown to help raise funds to help those needing mental health support in the borough.

Smackdown to Mental Health will take place on Sunday, August 20 at 1pm at the Richard Herrod Centre in Carlton.

Wrestlers taking part in this family-friendly show include LJ Heron, Danny Chase, Harley Harris and House of Pain Wrestling Academy champion Juken.

Funds raised will go towards creating a crisis cafe at Arnold Methodist Church which will give  support to those suffering with mental health problems.
